Here’s a cool video of a real deal, nitty-gritty jazz event which takes place at the American Legion in Harlem on 132 st. every Sunday.
I had about a half bottle of good Italian wine in me, and I was hangin with my friend Akim. We went to check out another friend, Sean Cameron (Jazz drummer extraordinaire). Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see Sean play tonight, but we did get to hear some rockin jazz.
If you know nothing about jazz -which I basically don’t- then as a starter, pick up Miles Davis Kind of Blue. It’s known as one of THE best jazz albums ever.
